The carefully designed coil structure and vacuum impregnation process ensure that the SG(B)10 transformer has no partial discharge; there will be no cracking or insulation degradation throughout its service life.
The high-voltage side uses a continuous winding, and the low-voltage side uses a foil winding. The overall vacuum impregnation, curing process, and high-strength ceramic supports give it excellent withstand capability against sudden short-circuit currents.
Flame-retardant, fire-resistant, non-toxic, self-extinguishing, and fire-preventive.
When burned by high-temperature open flames, the SG(B)10 transformer produces almost no smoke.
The transformer uses Class H (180°C) insulation.
The insulation layer is extremely thin and uniform, giving it strong short-term overload capacity (no forced cooling required): it can operate at 120% load for long periods, or 140% load for 3 hours. Since the insulation material does not age and remains elastic, it can be fully loaded immediately even under ±50°C conditions.
