The XGN15-12 is a unit-type, modular sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) AC metal-clad ring network switchgear. It is a new generation of metal-clad switchgear that uses SF₆ switches as the main switches, adopts air insulation, supports distribution automation, and is both compact and expandable. It features a simple structure, flexible operation, reliable interlocking, and easy installation, and can provide satisfactory technical solutions for different application scenarios and user requirements.
With the adoption of sensing technology and the latest protective relays, combined with advanced technical performance and lightweight, flexible assembly solutions, it can meet the ever-changing market demands.
The XGN15-12 unit-type SF₆ ring network cabinet is suitable for 50Hz AC, 12kV power systems. It is widely used in industrial and civil cable ring networks and power supply terminal projects, especially in scenarios such as special sites requiring dual-power automatic switching, urban residential power distribution, small secondary substations, switching stations, industrial and mining enterprises, shopping malls, airports, subways, wind power generation, hospitals, stadiums, railways, and tunnels.
Its protection class reaches IP2X.
Product Overview
The enclosure of the XGN15-12 ring network switchgear is formed by CNC machining of aluminum-zinc coated steel, galvanized steel, or cold-rolled steel, with a spray-molded panel. The switchgear consists of four mutually isolated compartments: busbar compartment, switch body compartment, cable compartment, operating mechanism compartment, and control compartment. A pressure relief channel is set at the back of the cabinet. The cabinet has a reasonable, compact, and practical structure with a small footprint, and features flexible operation, complete and reliable five-prevention interlocking, simple installation, stable operation, and expandability.
Its protection class reaches IP30.
